Mapping of Digital Skills and Competences
AXESS is the concrete answer to specific needs in the field of upskilling adults, with focus on Digital Skills for low-skilled adult women. The choice for the topic (Digital Skills) is due to the relevance of digital skills in modern social and economic environment.
The Mapping of Digital Skills & Competences for Low Skilled Adults will outline real and perceived learning needs, through a series of qualitative and quantitative data and information. "Low-skilled" is understood throughout this project as persons with minimum ISCED 3 level education who lack certain skills.
Specifically, the partners will :
- Set methodology (identify target groups for testing, prepare questionnaires for specific target groups, define sources for desk research (statistical data, EU and national documents such as Digital Skills and Jobs Coalition, E-skills for the 21st century: fostering competitiveness, growth and jobs, European e-Competence Framework, Filling the Gaps: e-Skills and Education for Digital Jobs, e-Skills: Curriculum Development Guidelines, Europa 2020 and ET 2020, New Skills Agenda)
- Perform Mapping of Digital Skills & Competences and produce a "country snapshot" on the situation in a partner country
- Summarise key findings from country snapshots including the analysis of training needs and recommendation of courses
